These terms describe who can use the platform, how accounts and trades work, and the rules that apply when using ACE Skins.

Platform rules

1. Introduction

These Terms govern access to and use of ACE Skins. By using the platform, the user agrees to be bound by these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement with SOFISTA OÜ, registry code 17391252, VAT no. EE102933350, Kesa tee 41, Õssu küla, 61713 Kambja vald, Tartu maakond, Estonia.

The platform allows users to buy, sell, and trade virtual in-game items from Counter-Strike 2 using the Steam platform. ACE Skins acts as an independent third-party trading platform and is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam.

2. Eligibility, accounts, and security

  • Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.
  • By signing in with Steam, registering an account, or creating a checkout order, the user confirms that they are aged 18 or over.
  • Checkout is currently accepted only for billing countries in the European Economic Area: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
  • All other countries and territories are excluded until separately approved. Accounts and transactions involving persons or entities subject to applicable EU, UN, OFAC, or UK sanctions are prohibited even if an EEA billing country is supplied.
  • Accurate account information must be provided, and KYC checks may be requested to prevent fraud or satisfy legal obligations.
  • Users may not create accounts for third parties, run multiple accounts, or share one account between multiple people.
  • Steam login provides only the Steam64ID, not Steam login credentials, though profile and inventory details may be accessed through the Steam Web API.
Security reminder

ACE Skins staff will never ask for items "for verification", send empty trade offers, or provide support through Steam direct messages. Official support is handled only on the platform or at finance@aceskins.store.

3. Trades, exchanges, and wallet balance

The platform supports only direct purchase, sale, and exchange of identified digital in-game items. It does not offer betting, wagering, jackpots, roulette, coin flips, loot boxes, randomized rewards, or any other game-of-chance mechanic. No cryptocurrency, token, or real-world currency is traded between users. Item values are determined automatically by pricing systems using market data and disclosed store markup.

Consumer disclosure: no cash redemption

Virtual items are digital licence rights for use within Steam. They have no intrinsic, fixed, or guaranteed real-world monetary value and are not redeemable for cash. They are not money, e-money, a deposit, a cash balance, or a financial instrument. Any displayed price or platform valuation is only a current transaction reference for a specific digital item, may change, and does not create a cash-redemption right. This disclosure does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

  • If the value of a user item exceeds the item being received, the difference may be stored as platform credit.
  • Platform credit is not redeemable for cash.
  • Once an item is withdrawn to a Steam account, the transaction is final and cannot be reversed.
  • ACE Skins may cancel, decline, or block trades at its discretion.
  • The wallet is a closed-loop accounting balance usable only toward identified items on ACE Skins. It is not a bank account, e-money account, cryptocurrency, transferable token, or stored-value payment instrument; funds cannot be withdrawn, transferred between users, or redeemed for cash.

Daily limits may apply, such as a maximum equivalent of USD 3,000 per user. Inactive accounts may be suspended or removed after 12 months of inactivity with 14 days of prior notice.

4. Prohibited conduct, intellectual property, and liability

  • Fraud, scams, money laundering, sanctions evasion, market manipulation, bots, automation tools, wagering, skin gambling, loot-box activity, or violations of Valve or Steam rules are prohibited.
  • Violations may lead to account suspension, cancellation of trades, or reporting to authorities.
  • All site content, design, software, and branding belong to SOFISTA OÜ.
  • Third-party trademarks such as Valve, Steam, and CS2 remain the property of their respective owners.

Services are provided "as is". ACE Skins is not responsible for item value fluctuations, Valve or Steam restrictions, or indirect or consequential damages. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user during the six months before a claim.

5. Refunds, governing law, and contact

All item trades are final and non-refundable once delivered to a Steam account, except in the specific cases listed in the Refund Policy, including technical delivery failure, duplicate payment, or proven unauthorized transactions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and directly applicable European Union law. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights remain unaffected.
