2. Reviewer and test-account access

Customer sign-in uses Steam OpenID. ACE Skins does not issue, receive, or store a separate customer password; Steam credentials are entered only on steamcommunity.com.

  • Customer login URL: sign in through Steam.
  • The reviewer may authenticate with its own eligible Steam account; no special ACE Skins customer account is required.
  • If the reviewer cannot use its own Steam account, contact finance@aceskins.store to coordinate an approved alternative review method. Steam passwords must not be shared or published.

3. Pricing, tax, and currency methodology

  • Each price below is a final consumer price in USD and is calculated from current third-party market data plus 8.5% and 0.35 USD fixed store markup.
  • No additional tax is added by ACE Skins at checkout. Applicable VAT is included in the displayed price where required by law.
  • Checkout currency: EUR. If it differs from the catalogue currency, the configured currency-pair rate is applied and the result is rounded to two decimals. The final amount and currency are shown before authorization.
  • Configured conversion pairs for this deployment: USD_EUR.
  • Availability and the final quote are revalidated when an order is created. A checkout cannot silently substitute a different item.

5. Checkout, authentication, delivery, and receipt

Card authentication

Visa Secure and Mastercard Identity Check are supported through the hosted payment flow. ACE Skins does not collect full card numbers or CVV data.

  1. The signed-in customer selects a specific item and sees its final price, currency, tax treatment, delivery estimate, and SOFISTA OÜ merchant details.
  2. The customer provides a receipt email, an accepted EEA billing country, and a Steam trade URL.
  3. Separate required checkboxes record policy acceptance and express consent to immediate digital delivery and the consequent loss of the withdrawal right once performance begins.
  4. The payment processor hosts card entry and 3-D Secure. ACE Skins does not release an order unless an authenticated 3-D Secure result is reported.
  5. After successful payment, ACE Skins emails a transaction receipt and queues the Steam trade-offer delivery. Live status remains available in the customer's profile.

6. Countries and sanctions controls

Checkout accepts only the following EEA billing-country codes. All other countries are blocked until separately approved. Accounts and transactions involving sanctioned persons or entities remain prohibited regardless of billing country.
